well if it had aircon but no belt, then the waterpump and alternator would also not work, as the AC compressor goes where the power steering is on our non-AC cars.

dialogsys does not help either in showing where the aircon pump goes, its just shows the pump as a seperate item, the aux belt is different too of course, has to be longer so as to drive the aircon pump so like Neal said, if it had no belt, the alt and water pump would also not be working
