Hello there,
Ive just joined the site as id seen it mentioned on alot of different websites.
I currently own a very ashetmatic j plate 1.4 sport clio.
Bein a student at the mo its all i can afford but ive already bought a 16v which im rebuilding, gas flow and the like ready top put into a valver later this year.
The valvers cam cover is painted blue and has Harlow motorsport printed on it - i was told when buying the engine it would have bigger valves in it, if so where can i get replacement valves from and is there a way of telling if this is engine has been breathed on by Harlow!?!
Also if any1 cud tell me why the clio i currently own is a "sport" not just RT id be very grateful.

Im originally from Glos, and ive already seen a few other memebers are too. Im 22 and studying Automtoive manufacturing, supossedly, at Cov uni. I did an engineerin apprenticeship before i came to uni so which was good for makin, fixing and tunin bits for my car - started off wid a 205xs which i still have just need to get it goin again lol
My clio is largely standard at the mo, just put a stereo and speakers in and the rest of my work on it has mainly to keep it goin.
Nether the less i still love the little frnch cars and wanna get a clio valver soon.
Have started to take a 16v engine apart to work on and will rty and post sum pics on my, slow, progress soon.

I thought only the later 1.4's were regarded as sport.
Why sport? I don't know. |
