well i got home from work today to find a parcel had been delivered, opened it up and lo & behold
one of Rhon's custom gear gaitors
I asked her about this a week ago, sent my old one to her for size comparision etc and this is the result.
She can also tailor the colour of the stitching to the car, in my case blue
and here is what it looks like fitted
just got to clean the rest of the interior now to match lol
Nice new leather gear gaitor
you can find Rhon over the F7Power forums
link to the thread
http://f7power.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2277
(and yes before anyone is a wise arse and posts that its too high up the shaft, i did that on purpose, rhon made my gaitor slightly longer than standard so i could fit it that way) |

Looks good, but by extending it that far up isn't it going to wear / make it arkward to get syncramesh on reverse?
Looks tidy. Wouldn't mind a full retrim in something like that with alacantra inserts! |

ewww i am no chav!
its for the radiator fan, temp switch has gone that activates it, i have a new one waiting to go on.
Addie, if it does become a problem, all i got to do is cut off the tie wrap that secures it and move it down a tad, 5 min job
i have something else up my sleeve for Rhon to leatherise (yes to do with the car, not a gimp suit for chet . . ) |

Standard stereo and speakers have surpassed themselves tbh. Listening to the radio thought they sounded pretty shite, but was looking at manual about re-entering code after disconnecting battery and noticed an 'in' stereo jack....
Dug out 2 headed cable + cd/mp3 player and you can push the volume up pretty loud before shows any sign of distortion. Lots of other nice touches too for a standard stereo, bass, loud, dolby, etc. Pretty impressed, one less thing to worry about for while |
