holts two part rad flush, bought some today as im changing the stat soon, any body used it before? any good?

The advice i took was off this forum and used washing powder for a few days then flushed it again, top notch now..

Make sure you take the bottom hose off - its an arse to do - but the only way to get all the crap that settles to the bottom out.

My mate who is a Renault Machanic used MR Muscle Foamer to flush mine out as it takes off all the Lime scale and shit from the pipes.

He got told this at his RTE tranning.

when i foned the renault garage about my heater matrix thats wot (I mean what really) they said,see if it clears it out first

just when i remember they also said leave it to soak in for 5/10 minutes at a time then flush it out

so you use washing powder for a few days in with normal coolant/antifreeze,
then you use MR muscle foamer for 5/10 min at a time to remove limescale before refilling with norm. coolant?

get two part rad flush from je clarks ben its easier and the same price as Mr mussle
