Santa Pod anybody going ? my friend in his 5GTT and another in his SiR Vtec have got a point to settle,

but it would be a good meet weather will be getting alot better by then anybody else thinking of going??

its just like a road...dont you ever put it to its max on the road? its only a straight line...not even any corners.

Well yeah but only really through 2nd, 3rd and 4th. And not for prolonged periods.

Not saying it's a bad thing, just something I wouldn't pay to do Very Happy

you should actually try it some time...bet you would really enjoy it.

but it is good fun watching others do it...i can sit all day and just watch...

just prefer it when its firebreathing top fuellers making your ears bleed Cool

meh drag demos....ie one run if your lucky.

easter is a proper competition over 4 days....all different classes all day long..

i went to the easter comp couple of years back, the top fuels can make you feel sick from the vibration through you, and when your in the pits and they rev it up the alcohol/methanol fuel in the air makes your eyes water!

Well maybe not once, but then you do it time and time again trying to beat you orignal time and that 1/4 mile turns into miles. Also it's not just foot down, alos hard and fast gear changes etc etc. I dunno, maybe the videos I've seen give a false idea. I'm not knocking it at all, just couldn't do that to mine...well maybe once Laughing

you wouldnt stop at once though thats the point, racing should come with a health warning its so addicitive Very Happy

When your up against the likes of norris designs 800hp evo, is there any point?
