hi. i have a '95 clio 16v and bought what i was told is a phase 1 r19 16v leather interior on ebay. it's black, with like a dimpled leather pattern on the centre parts if that helps. i have removed the standard interior and just tried fitting the rear seats, discovering to my horror that they're to wide! it appears that the "pivot rod" running along the bottom of the rear seat uprights is too long. i have also tried the bottom part of the rear seat and found the same problem, except i reckon if i remove the rear door card pockets it might fit. the reason why i'm so puzzled by this is that a friend of mine had this same interior in a clio 16v a few years back, so i know it can go, but how? and who can fit it? does the rod/seat need cutting. any help much appreciated. Thanks |
