is this the standard 1?
cause mine just fooked up doing up my wheel (luckliy)
it split down one side
if it is anyone got one they dont need? can i get another from renault?
or failing that how can i get it out for free i need to change my brake pads soon as

mines where different from that.mines had 4 pins.a few months ago mine bent and renault wanted £60 to take them of.but a guy at a local garage took them of for a tenner.didnt see how he done it though |

the guy that done mine said he used some kind of drill to get them out but that was using my bent wheel locking nut key,no help i know.
and theres no way you were doing over 150mph and took that pic as your avitar (pics to steady) |

lockers can be removed by your local tyre fitters for about £10
my key rounded off so took the car down to the local tyre place, within a few minutes he had 3 off easily, the 4th would not play ball so he chiseled it round until it was free enough to get off with a normal wrench.
all he had was some kind of socket on his air wrench to get them off with. |

i bought my renault 16v, went to change the rear tyres and low and dehold locking nuts with no key,went to local renault dealer and they wanted a 4 digit code that the wheel came with or £80 to get them off. ended up beating a 14mm multi rigid socket(not your normal 5 sided socket) on to the locking nut and with a wheel brace managed to get them off. hope this helps. |
