It aint budging
Open ended spanners and ring spanners are starting to slip.
Thinking of chopping the top of it off so i can get a 6 sided socket on it.
Any tips on getting the little bugger out?? |

tbh assumign 16v its a bit of an arse to get out. I have a lambda socket, but its to tall to use with the downpipe on the car! Normally I use either stilsons or moles to get it out.
If you can, runt eh engine and get it hot, that tends to help. |

Yea, i got a special socket for the job and it's too tall.
Its got a small slot in the side for the wire to come out.
I did however manage to get it on and use a 25mm spanner round the top of the socket but the thing just ended up bending and flairing out.
So that was a waste of money lol
I'll try heating it up then, see if that helps.
Cheers! |

I've got one of those things. I use it for undoing strut top nuts... is that not what it was made for then? |
