Flywheel locking tool:

Better than using a screwdriver or a chisel surely?

Chris, surely there is a better way than using a big screwdriver through the gearbox bellhousing to lock the flywheel though? without removing the starter..

I never use a screwdriver anyway, you just break teeth off th ering gear.

What are you trying to do?

its ok for that chet, but I stick it in gear and put the brakes on to crack them off, saves a lot of wasted time!

I done it with the flywheel and the big one

the engine was sitting on a pallet at the time chris so i couldn't do that!

I bent the bolt opening the big one which made it fun to get out!

if you have the engine out and the sump off you lie it on its side and use a bit of wood between the cank throw and the block so it doesn't turn.

What else do I need to teach you? lol the best one was the engine stand! fpmsl!
