Just got a few quotes for my TD. I have to say it's modified as it has Leather and Alloys which wern't standard at time of purchse so got quoted £516 fully comp. With protected 4 years NCB!
What a friggin' rip off. I'm 25 and the bloody car is a Group 9 for God's sake!
That was the cheapest BTW! Would have been £424 if I hadn't protected my NCB. |

Just got 16V wheels. Morethan are the only ones that say that I don't need to tell them as it don't cahnge the acelleration or top speed. Everyone else says it's a modification and would invalidate it if I don't disclose it! |

well everyone else is talking pish as they were options. No need to declare it.
no one else runs through the options list when they get the car insured! |

What are modifications?
These are any changes or factory-fitted optional extras which have been added to the vehicle and is not part of the standard vehicle specification. This would include such things as: alloy wheels / spoilers / engine modifications.
These are the prices without mods. Still expensive I think.

LOL I never knew that. Will have to ring them back and get a re-quote.
It just sounds like a clause that thay can use to get out of paying out.
"Ah you've got the comfort pack....I'm afraid that invalidates your insurance!" |
