Right, the time has come to paint up my megane block.
What kind of paint should I get? I was thinking of just the normal Hammerite 'straight to rust' metal paint but I'm not sure of the temperature tolerance etc. of that stuff.
they also do a barbeque paint, which would obviously be more suitable in terms of temperature resistance, but that only comes in matt black, which would be OK.
Otherwise there are the special engine enamels.
Anyone got any suggestions? |

bunch of useless feckers!
Indecisiveness is my worst trait (though it has stiff competition tbh), but I just bought a big tin of smooth blue Hammerite.
So that shall be done this weekend, provided I don't get sidetracked like I usually do. |

i done mine like that...cleaned thoroughly with brake cleaner, then a few nice dustings straight on the metal. its fine. no scratching of, or peeling due to heat.
