righty private messages are a great thing, we can bad mouth other people to each other without them knowing it etc but they also slow the forum and take up a lot of bandwidth so people can we please delete any un-needed pm's.
Also if you go to your pm file you will see the headings inbox, sentbox, outbox and save box.
The sentbox will no doubt have a lot of pm's in it so please delete them all, these are pm's that have been sent.
Outbox has pm's that are still to be received but have been sent to other users.
Save box is obvious.
So keep them tidy folks

Turning off auto-notification (email) of PM's will have more of an impact Chris. |

yes but the e-mail notifications handy.
Sometimes I have pm's sitting there for a while cos I don't get the pop up window saying I have a pm.
But for those that have the pop up window then as George said turn off the auto e-mail notification, you can do this in your profile. |
