thankfully its not a mechanical problem i have.( thought this would be the best section to post in)
just wanted to know the best way of removing the 16v badge on my 19 without causing the badge or bodywork any damage..is it just a matter of pushing the clips out from the inside of the boot??
it will be replaced with 16s badge that i have been after for ages..finally managed to get one from francce through ebay..so Wicked Neo's not the only one with it now |

not really, it comes off fine even with a screwdriver, but sometimes it is well stuck. they use the pegs and tape at the factory you see. |

lol my 16S badge is not fitted yet either thanks to the most amazingly sticky pads used by renault to hold the 16v badge on heh
i got the stupid peg holders off from the inside and used cheese wire to try to cut thru the pad under the badge
lets put it this way, the 16V badge is still firmly attached at the mo haha |

It will be on in time for FCS and yes i got a pair of clio 16v repeater badges and now i know why no one else has them on thier 19.
they dont fit!! lol
well they do but because of where the hole in the wing for the side repeater is, the badges overlap the wing onto the door and therefore would get damaged if u open the door lol
no matter as i have a spare set of wings which i am modding for another project of mine so i will move the side repeater hole at the same time |

Mine has badges on the wings but no side repeaters.
Think 1992 was the last year for this in France.
1993 on had to have side repeaters.
Seen pics with side repeater badges.
My clio Baccara had a B badge repeater fitting but was 1993. |

Cant you swap them round so that the 16V bit is in front of the repeater rather than behind it? |

nope, tried that too, they dont sit flush with the wing that way as the wing is flaring out to the arch |
