this is an idea from the renault turbo owners club just thought i would see if anyone is interested
this is what was on the forum
Ive just been granted kind permision to post this on here by Bruce. Im an ex member from years back and have just been given responsabiliaties of organising some car shows on a freinds show ground.
I thought about having as big a Renault meet as possible with combined efforts from RTOC, Clio Sport, 21TOC, Williams.co.uk and any others im not aware of, all are welcome. If you use another forum including the ones ive mentioned above, please copy paste this event so they can get the know how.
Right, now for some details ....
When?... Me and Bruce have settled on the 12th August for this event.
How much?... At moment im looking at around £5 per car, £10 per car for bring and buy section.
How big?... Currantly enough room for around 300 cars. More likely 250 cars, and 30 or so in Bring and buy as they will need more space for stand etc.
Where?... Maldon Essex... Use postcode CM9 6PN for Multimap directions.
Anything else?... There will be toilet and food facilaties on site.
BB Tuning and Torsion Tuning have agreed attendance, Im sure PErf GTi will get in on the scene and If attendance looks promising, I'll comission some show awards (IE best modified Nova etc) with free entry.
This will be on a Saturday, so at night, a HUUUUUUUGE convoy into Southend to hit the seafront would be VERY cool. Im sure Perf GTi would agree
How can we help?... As said above, if you use another forum, please spread the word, this is a meet for Renault fans to chill out and have a burger and beer in the sun with some cool cars, everyone is welcome. If you want to attend, please register your interest and any useful questions you have in this thread to help me bump it a bit. If your a mod, a sticky would be welcome.
