Thats very helpful (apart from the obvious lack of a brown wire ) |

Yeah! Lots of things like that. Can't understand the injector wiring either. 2 wires come from ECU into a joiner, 2 wires out into the connector block. 2 more wires going back to earth. WTF!
This loom (being yours) has had a repair done at some stage where a wire had shorted out and then insulated with gaffer tape lol
I stupidly pulled the tacho feed wire out of the connector block in the aux fuse box, not a big deal to add another one anyway |

what pisses me off is the cloth bound areas of the loom at the joiners, they are normally soaking wet I find!
Injectors work by earthing, the injectors are live all the time, the ECU earths them. |

That cloth stuff appears to be some sort of fibreglass stuff
The injectors don't all fire at once do they? I thought it was 2 at a time. |

no they are batch fire which means all at once.
Its not semi sequential to old/ren couldn't be arsed.
Only equiv at the time was the C20XE which was sequential. |

Ah right that explains it then
Doesn't explain the need for 2 pins to be used |
