indeed if only I had a digi cam or my hands on my sisters camera phone.
Right now I am trying to do the matrix swap.
Fun? Oh yes.
lowdown so far, various trim off, I am tryign to remove the dopdgy renault alarm, I have fouind the alarm box has a ferw dodgy soldered joints so I will fix them and the alarm may work again which would be nice.
the way they have spliced into the loom leaves a lot to be desired I can see myself having to let in new wires to fix the probs! Fun eh what!
I basically have a footwell full of water and wires now and under th ebonnet I have broken the alrm splice into the ignition module cos they used dodgy crimp bullet connectors whcih are fecked totally. So cars no go until its all sorted out which may be a while. I need to remove the carpet etc to dry it all out.
Sympathy please! |

wel turns out my sister has a half day so I got some pics but shes doen the off with the phone.
Anyway its all out, i am currently letting the carpet dry out and I have washed out the heater box which was full of coolant and leaves etc.
Its not too bad at the moment, still need to fire up the solderign iron though. |

well the new matrix is in but still got to hoover the interior and re-fit the side panels.
I am at my grans for dinner and not enough time to finish it.
Heaters not as hot, I hope its a mere air lock |

i got a new matrix this morning from GSF, first time they have actually had an item in stock when i got there having rung up for it beforehand and them telling me they have it.
i would continue to leave it but my drive to work will soon become very cold and misty if i do
will get the spanners out tomorrow probably, assuming no rain. |

Also, as my MOT is coming up, i picked up a pair of gaiters for my steering rack as mine are split. Will inevitably have a right old laugh trying to get them on.
Yeah yeah i know "simple job" etc, but these simple jobs always end up taking a whole day, bleeding knuckles and numerous rounded bolt heads, culminating in me getting angry and breaking something. |

If you get angry with trying to put your new gaiters on just take it out on an old crappy Renault 19 16v they make a good walloping pillar and just go out about yourself a skoda..
Should solve ya probs |
