got my bottom end and sump back today nice and clean,
right 1st thing i want todo before i start anything else is i need to check this block out and make sure it will be ok for the rebuild, should i take it some where and get all the faces skimmed so i no they will be tight fitting or is a straight metal ruler enough to check it is still all straight?
next is the oil return, i no where it is going but might be a silly question but the oil wont go up the return the wrong way at all will it as it is directed into the sump..? and as the metal is different deepths should i get it machined properly or can i just drill it? |

ruler will do for a check.
also every other car int he world dumps oil from the turbo into the sump why would yours be special?
machined properly is the obvious answer isn't it. You can drill it if your competant enough. |
