Sitting in traffic (Ido this a lot on the way home) I find it bloody anoying when i'm slipping the clutch (naughty)! that the engine hunts (not with dogs as it's soon to be baned) .
This only happens with a light throttle, just enough to hold her on a slight hill, it revs up and down continuosly.Please make the problem easy and cheap to fix! As if!

i changed my lambda and found it still did it to an extent. but not enough to be too annoying. |

you used a crap lambda probe then jonny or the earthing to the exhaust is crap. |

is it earthed thru the threads of the sensor? i can take it out and clean it up |

yes the lambda is earthed through the exhaust.
The 3 wires are black, white, white and grey. Black is the actual ECU signal wire, the 2 white wires are for the lambda sensors heater.
The new 4 wire lambda sensors run a seperate earth.
As for make, Bosch/NGK 3rd party crap are not worth it. |

I've an NGK (or whatever name they brand them as) on mine and it cured that hunting in mine. Has survived quite well with the made fuelling too |
