shoul;d just pull off, but sometimes they corrode to the crank.
get cam cover bolts screw them in the holes and with a claw hammer tug each one in turn and it will come off |

Oil pump shaft thing pulley was a bitch on the megane engine of mine, one of the torx was solid and couldn't lock it
Ended up using a suspenion C spanner thingy on it
We have a homemade puller for the crank ones |

the starter motor back bracket thing can be used as a puller on them, but the claw hammer does it in a jiffy I find |

nope it just spins round and i cant get nothing to grip it and if you put the belt on it slips
i might go get some long nose molegrips and clamp the belt tight to it then that might help...
if you get what i mean that is
and i dont think turning the crank will help unless you have to take the sump off before you can remove the piece?? |

moles on the belt will do it, the belt will prob tear though so be prepared. |
