Having now eyed up another clio 16v, I may be needing a gearbox in the near future. If anyone has one for sale please let me know (either PM or reply here).
Ideally it wouldn't be TOO far from Edinburgh but I would be willing to travel.
Thanks. |

How much would you want for it (PM me if you want)? Do you reckon it's in quite good condition?
I was going to ask about that as well, would all gearboxes from the 19 16v and clio 16v be the same apart from different ratios?
I'll be able to tell you for sure whether or not I want it by the end of the week.
Thanks. |

its a JB3 051 box so will be faster than the clio one, top end wise and 0-60.
Box is fine as well. Changes gears lovely and has 100K on it.
As for price, erm come pick it up and you can have it £35 or less if you buy me something nice to eat I suppose. |

Sounds fair enough to me, I'll trade you a gearbox for a few cheseburgers
I'll still have to see the car and stuff anyway - it's on ebay just now so I would have to have a look at it before I come to any final decisions. I'll put a post in tech questions later anyway as I need to check it would be the gearbox needing replaced.
However, if I get the car and it needs a box I'll definately take that one. It would probably be into next month before I could come and collect though as I'm quite buzy with Uni exams at the moment. |

As long as you haven't changed your mind for some reason Chris I will definately take this now as I've bought the car.
It will be a few weeks before I can come through to collect due to Uni work - but I can pay just now if you want? |
