M reg needs the doors plipped to deativate the immobiliser.
But you could take along an early ECU, then as BB says, plug in another barrel that you have key for. |

I don't have a new barrel, and if I go see it tonight I'd like to hear it running if poss. |

m reg won't need it for sure.
It may have the renault cat 2 immob which means you need to bypass that.
As for the steerign lock remove the T-20 and bend the column shroud and it will slide out, you can then use a screwdriver to start it as well. |
