As above, what parts will i need to do this?
Thinking of a cheap project over the summer so am tempted to buy a 1.2/1.4 R5 and swap the engines over for a bit of fun.
What mounts would be needed, can i use the R5 shafts (i assume the gearbox would be fine to use) and what about the loom...will it plug straight in? |

loom is totally different so you need to get wiring.
engine will go in using the 5 mounts, get an engine out of a 19. much easier. as the coveres and mounting blocks are asll there for the mounts. |

I'm planning to do this conversion in July (1.4 E6J into my R5 1.1 Campus).
we'll be using R19 engine, since (as Chris said) it's easyer to mount. in begining i'll be using original gearbox, later i'll probably chaned it with gearbox out of R5 Express (which have shorter gears). |
