my 19 has bendix ABS. the ABS light comes on intermitantly whilst driving. if you turn the ignition off the engine off then on the ligh goes out.
i have checked the plug in the fluid tank, checked the level. i also looked at the ABS comp to check the connections.
the pump works fine and you can hear it working ok.
any surgestions. how do i know if a sensor is buggered |

you can check the resistance of the sensors, should be around 1000-1100 ohms.
TBH though, you're best off binning the system now while the car is in one piece and you've still got the chance. It's only a matter of time. |
