right the shitty volvo engine is a renault engine that volvo took and then detuned.
The volvos have a detuned renault engine in them NOT the other way about.
Yes they are rare, I have yet to see or work on a ph1 1.7 MPI. Only seen them in pics.
The white RSI is rare as well.
theres a lot more carbed 1.7 ph1's and 1.8 SPI ph2's. |

Why is the rsi rare? Are 19 RSIs rare or is it special? |

its rare cos there are not a lot about, theres about 5 times as many clio rsi's.
Again yet to drive/work on a 19 RSI, driven plenty of clio rsi's and laguna 1.8's etc. |

My housemate got given one of those ph1 1.7 SPI TXEs a couple of years back, was a blue one, pretty battered and had a fucked clutch. We were going to fix it but in the end gave it away again. T'was a beast indeed tho! |

lol the white rsi is far from mint, look at the rust on it!
neal thats an MPI not SPI.
Only SPI they did was the 1.4 and the 1.8.
No 1.7's were SPI. |
