Pulled up in the drive the other day after taking a half hour drive back from Brighton. What I heard was a hiss.....hissss......hisss kinda noise, when I opened up the engine bay I came across what looked like a sprinkler system attatched to the head.....lol
This was the cause http://img272.imageshack.us/img272/553/scratch6pj.jpg
As some of you know Flipper (boss's mate) is breaking a ph2 19 and the thermostat and this T piece are all one, I'm assuming the ph2 part cannot be used with a ph1 head as the plugs seem to be in the wrong place and the apeture on the head is completely different. However Ren want £30 for a new one so a second hand ph1 T piece or info on using the ph2 kit would be very helpfull. |

just use the ph2 thermostat housing. It fits straight on and mates up with all your existing hoses. The ph2 thermostat housing has the 2 temp sensors mounted in it so you can take your pick whether you want to use those or your original pair mounted in the head. |
