is there such a thing? if there is gsf dont do one...what comes in it? what do i need?
a renault parts job is it?

yes
front seal, rear seal, water pump seal, aux shaft housing gasket, aux shaft o-ring's.
77 01 466 408 GASKET SET 53.33
Sump is mean to be used with sealent personally I use a gasket. |

right well i already have front and rear seal. thought aux shaft just used sealant? still...dont need kit then, just aux shaft gasket and sump gasket. ill order them separetly...i really should reinstall dialogys...i just cant face it.
the aux shaft o-rings...is that just one that goes in the plastic cap on top?
also i had a brkt of metal that clamped over the top of the plastic cap using the same bolts, kinda trianglular in shape....whats that for? |

aye cap thingy and the front seal on the aux.
You can use sealant if you want i prefer gaskets for oil related bits
plates the wiring support, theres a clip on it for the oil pressure sender. |

ok....it qualifies for refitting....lucky brkt.
so to recap....i should be getting a gasket for the sump? aux shaft housing? i dont want it to leak obviously...but if i can get away with sealant all the better....this is rebuilding on a budget! |

yeah chet, use any F type sump gasket, I prefer the gaskets myself.
I made Ben buy one when I was doing his engine swap as well.
You, depending on where you go need to say its for a 1.7 5 GTX or somethign with a tin sump. |
