How is the mpg worked out by the trip computer on a valver?
Mine reads between 30-35 on the turbs which i doubt is right.
Could the bigger injectors be confusing it? i.e. computer see's injector firing and counts it as X amount of fuel but because the injectors are different its injecting more?

indeed, pulsewidth, rpm and road speed are used to define mpg. |

Yeah must be out, my standard one only reads 30+ when I drive like a granny.
As soon as you start putting any power into it that drops to mid 20s. Start flooring it everywhere and hello low 20s. |

The chammy used to give me 40mpg on the motorway, I dare say it was slighty more economical then the Cordy. Using the analogue trip and against the digital fuel guage also gave the same figure as the MPG on the trip.
Mind you, I'd be lucky to get 60 miles from a tenner round my B roads |

mione is usually around 40mpg on the motorway. Above 70 ish up to a ton its around 30-35mpg.
Tanking it drops to the low 20's. |
