Had a great one at work today coz there was nothin much else going on. (Hence the post) Matsaman Beef. Bought it from Spitalfields market in London E1.

i just had chilli on a jackat potatoe....or least i think there was a jacket under there somewhere....mouth burning....but it was goood

Chicken Tikka Khari, spiced to Vindaloo strength with added spinich, pilau rice, plain nan bread with free Ratia and Popadoms. £6.50, every Wednesday. Lush.

i hate curry with a passion, if i want to eat something that looks like turd and makes me shit through the eye of a needle, i can do it a hell of a lot cheaper than £6.50

Just because your digestive system is plumbed out like a 1870's public bath house doesn't mean the rest of us with the updated version can't enjoy a bloody good curry.

Whats even better is the portions are so large you get a free breakfast in with the deal! Result!

i like curry but nothing hot....korma is my usual choice, maybe tikka masala...

or siply at home a tin of chicken curry...

i make chilli....oh yes....with all fresh ingredients....its gorgeous!

ask any sort of Indian and they wilkl tell you its crap, the stuff we get here is totally different to what they get at home/back in their home country.

I know went out wie one for a while, proper bunny boiler.

yeah i know our equivilent is shit...we had indian neighbours for a while and the curry they cooked was beautiful...still curry tho.

I get mine from a proper Indian, I always order off the menu too and get the proper authentic stuff! I used to live near Rusholme in Manchester "The Curry Mile" and always went to the authentic curry places, ok I was the only white person in there but the food was beauitul!

curry is spicy because in india, hygeine and sanitation can be very poor, and the meat correspondingly rancid. So what do you do? You boil/cook it to hell to make it edible. But then its tasteless and still manky, so what do you do then? Easy, just throw in all kinds of spicy crap to put some taste back in and disguise the foulness of the meat.

they don't, I think their pretty crap as well.

The sweet and sour one is nice as is chicken and mushroom.

trouble it like th emars bars they kingsize things retain the large packaging but the stuff inside shrinks!
