today i changed both headlight leveller motors as the both were not working. 1 is now working fine however it seems the clip type thing that the leveller connects into is busted, is it possible to change the little plasic peice or is it a whole new headlight unit to get it woking.
Btw. changed me alternator on sat .... never wanna have to do it again! |

Slightly off topic, but is there any way of testing these? I have no idea if mine are working. |

yes Huw, park up in front of a wall with the headlights on. Operate the roller switch thing and see if the lights are going up and down.
Paul, you have to take the headlight apart to replace the bit inside I think. Is it definitely broken? If you remove the bulb, you can put your finger inside to push the clip of the movable refelector thing onto the plastic ball of the adjuster. |

Neal, im pretty sure irs broken as i used a mirror to look into the hole thats left on both headlights when the electric adjuster motor is unclipped and it seems that the nearside one is missing a large chunk of the plasric that the little ball on the motor assembly clips into, guess its gonna come apart tonight then !! .. will try and do a photo journal thing of it but no promises cos once the spanners come out all else sometimes gets forgotten |

Hi-jack all you want, headlights are fixed now
And i gotta admit i prefer blondes and baseball to grease and spanners..... unless of course a naked blonde is passing me my spanners ... hasnt happened yet though |
