finally after what must be 4 years now I can finally say with authority what the problem is.
For those that have been around this is Ben S's old ph1 chammy engine that let go on the 2001/2002 RSC Gumball at 140 odd mph.
Big end failure on number 3 cylinder.
Anyway to have a gander, note rare tin sumper
