was coming home with amber around 3 am. Doing about 110, noticed the temp go up.
Pulle doff th emotorway and ditched in asda carpark as it was right up just over the fan kicking in temp.
Only then did the steam arrive there was no coolant left, It was the hose that loops round on models without the oil cooler
it had burst on the motorway.
so went woke my mum and sister up at 3am took the hose off the engine in the back garden, somewhow changed it in ther dark in asda's car park and drove away.
Car was of course fine. |

Soooo lucky that things like that seem to go wrong close to home. It was only as I slowed down I noticed the ball of steam emerging from the back of the car. Was quite funny though.
Car's running well still so didn't do any damage, wasn't without water at all, about 2 litres gushed out on the drive when I got home, like I said lucky timing. |
