hillman hunters and all sorts of crap are still made over there, think brazil still makes the 5 as well. |

mexico or brazil still make the 1st bettle aswell is 2 in stroud (my town)
also the 405 is still made in iran to  they bolt it to the hunter chassis  |

lol just did a currency converter jobbie, the golf costs a min of £5255.09 and a max of £7660.12 and the ciroen starts at £5151.50 for the 8 valve and £6035 for the 16v. Not bad prices to be fair, but probably alot less reliability than the originals (especiall the golf, my dad had a zx and it was shockingly bad.....well the diesel he had was anyway) |

mmm interesting. suspension's different from the original mk1. from memory all mk1's were torsion bars front and rear. interesting though I would have thought they would have continued making the mk2 as it was bit bigger and better made.... |
