drivers side sidelight bulb has blown. When the ignitions opn the headlights glow slightly to increase sidelight output. Get a new sidelight bulb.
Does it idle at 1500rpm all the time?
check for air leaks, then I'd look to see if some idiot messed abotu with the throttle body setscrews. ICV may be jammed open slightly but thats super rare. |

i have two ideas either the fact i have to ramp up a pavement to get on to my drive or when my local change me tires they use a massive jack thing which they just pop strangly to exaclty where the hole is which is fairly soft and not my personaly choice for a jacking point |

1st thing to do laddo then is to unplug the CTS, if the idle drops then get a new one.
The screws on top, have a look, the anti tamper cap should be there and the paint should still be on the throttle stop. |

righty no change in the idle still at either 1500 or 2k

see the hose to the ICV clamp it, see if the idle drops.
It shoud drop to around 900rpm with the hose clamped. It may stall/be difficult to start like this though |

new will be at the cheapest 80quid.
Try cleaning it out more. Carb cleaner in it then waggle it a lot, keep doing it until it comes out clean, use white paper to see. |
