How difficult is it to transplant an engine and gearbox from one 16v to another? Whats the deal with the ECU and immob/alarm?
the engine has an aftermarket cobra alarm (that i rarely use coz its goes off too much neway!) hoping that wont cause too much trouble |

why would anyone fit an alarm to an engine?
Personally I would fit it to the car not the engine |

What I meant is would the Cobra immobiliser/alarm be a problem if I wanted to put the engine in a different car.. I wasnt sure how the immobiliser was wired up to the car/engine |

alarm witll be wired into the car, if there is any wires in the bay it will be at the fuel pump relay fromt eh stock immob and maybe to the ignition module |
