More adventures of the 5 turbo.
Starter motor has just gone
Whats the best way to get the thing out?
Not a lot of room at all so this is going to be a tricky one.
Where is best to get to the thing?
Remove manifolds and from the top?
From the off-side wheel arch?
From under the subframe?
Gotta do this under the floodlights tonight so elp asap will be very much appreciated.
Thanks! |

On my Fiver (1.7i engine) I can remove the starter without any other removal...and put it back to place...
Don't know how hard it is on GTT... |

Sorted now cheers.
Just the bolts under the tubo, then take the support bar out and remove through the off-side wheel arch.
Bit of a pain, but sorted now!
Cheers for the help though |
