Have borrowed one of these off a friend just to play about with.
When setting it up, you leave it on for about 10 / 15 minutes until the figure has stabilized. Then turn the dial and set it to 2%.
Now you put the tube/probe thing in the exhaust and adjust idle, mixture, idle, mixture, idle, mixture until you are within spec.
On the 5 it should be 1.5 +/- 0.5 (so up to 2%)
So does this mean that it should be the same as normal air?
And cars that are 0.5 are cleaner (less carbon monoxide) than normal air?
Have i missed something here?
Am i supposed to set it 1.5 above the 2% its calibrated to (3.5%)??? or just 1.5??
Strange
Anyone know what im supposed to do?
