ive done absolutely bugger all of any use today other than bleeding the brakes on the motor this morning
still its been quite a relaxing day, watched alien vs predator at the cinema and although it was essentially a shit film, it kept me entertained. Then i played teenage mutant ninja turtles on the ps2 with my housemate for an hour and a half and now hes playing tiger woods golf on his own while i sit and watch whilst simultaneously trawling the net on my laptop. |

still not seen AlienVS Pred although the disc is abotu ohh 10 inches frm the keyboard.
Halfway through doing the driveway. Spent yesterday gettign the energy back on its wheels and it fell on me.
My hips very sore as I was sitting cross legged with my right knee under the sill and my left foot under that knee, car rolle doff the jack and pined my leg to my foot. Managed to lift it enough to wriggle out but its kinda sore.

my trolley jack is well dodgy, i broke the bit that connects the lever to the hydraulic plunger thing, so i had to make a new part out of a bit of box section. In doing so i accidentally pulled the plunger out and a load of hydraulic fluid escaped. Still works, but half the time you pump away at it and it does nothing for a while.
Needless to say, i now ALWAYS use the axle stands whenever i can, as i have no faith in the jack whatsoever. |

trolley jack of mine doesn;t hold a load, it can support an engine long enough to sap a front mount.
I always use the standard scissor jack as its reliable. |

well just got a few more slabs to go down then I can move the blue car and strip it and get it removed.
So if anyone needs an 449 blue doors aside from the front passenger door then I have some.
The good bits are going onto the red car, like the new shafts, wishbones etc etc |

i saw avp today as well....was a bit dissapointing....but it is hard to make a film based on good books and comics that doesnt appear to be just ripping off the brand names of the other films...but it could have been made a lot better.
watched teenwolf tonight with my boy....class oldie havent seen it for donkeys yrs |

problem was, that Paul W. S. Anderson was involved, any film he is involved with is invariably shite. They couldnt get James Cameron or any quality director, but this jobbing twat was ready and willing |
