My lovely Naples Clio 16v has now been sold Sad

She's going to a very nice bloke, who fell in love with her straight away.

Definately one of the best examples around...DEDFINATELY THE best ive seen in flesh or driven.
She is such a nice drive...very tight and precise NO rattles etc etc. I would say the ride is equal to any of the circa 2 year old 172'/182's ive driven...and the handling is better!

There she goes....

You may ask, "but Craig, where is the throttle body engine you built??"

I shall reply, "please my friend, do wait for the unveiling of project Clio Williams #120...a track/competition car im currently working on"
Wink Very Happy Laughing

Basically i put her back to standard. Got £1500, which im happy with i guess. could have got more, but i would have been sat on her for a while i think.

All good things have to come to an end.....

There were LOTS of people emailing my from ebay...3 were genuinly intrested..i had a bit of a telephone bidding war going on!!

in the end, a lad that lives literally a 5min walk from me foned and offered £1500 as she was. The previous "deal" was £1350 with 6 month tax. so i got what i wanted in the end.

They are great cars. I took Shackal out in a 180bhp Hybrid i had in. He was VERY suprised at the grip they have.

Ive driven LOTS of expensive cars in all shapes/sizes. The Clio, whilst not as luxurious or "fast" by any stretch of the imagination, always put a larger smile on my face.

They are vented, but as you say, the pads are half on half off, creating a nice step in the pad Confused
