Coming up to the bridge from the south
On the bridge
The best view is when you come from the north, the white slash across the hills in the mirror is the bridge.
I dropped off the motorway into Millau to have a look from under.
Thats an articulated lorry up on the bridge, to get the scale of the thing.
My new GPS map thing. Says in 401 Km take the Bourges exit off the motorway. The Bluetooth GPS is the small grey box.
The day before I came back down it started snowing. |

Err, think it 110 Kph on the bridge.
Normally 130 Kph on the motorway.
The Speedo over-reads by about 7 Kph with the tyre wear I have right now. GPS.
That’s my story anyway.
On the Motorway coming back, in the Var at night, I’m in the outer lane a bit over the limit as usual,
When I see headlights flashing in the rear mirror. Pull over into a gap, red Ferrari goes past like a bullet, followed by an Audi hatchback (sport model with a red and silver decal on the back) and a Subaru after that. Took chase for a bit but I need my licence so not for long. Anyway they were to fast for me. Ferrari was making music, went by so quick no way to tell which model it was but by the –wahhhhhh- it must have been a V12.
110 Kph = 68.35 Mph
130 Kph = 80.77 Mph
